We now know that Pilot Wings 64 will be the next game to fly to the Switch Online + Expansion Pack N64 library on October 13. As if this wasn’t exciting enough, Nintendo released a new trailer for the game with a voiceover that, well, check it out for yourself above.
If you originally watched the trailer on mute, nothing will prepare you for the whiplash of hearing the softest voice known to man telling you about the game. Combine that with a soft jazz beat and we have a new bedtime routine in our hands. White noise? Sleep story? No, stick the Pilot Wings 64 trailer on it, will you?
While we could have sworn we’ve heard that voice somewhere before — has anyone else gotten Ronin from Bayonetta vibes? – it’s nice to see a Nintendo trailer working to actually make us laugh (a welcome change from that recent ‘splat splat splat’ Splatoon 3 trailer).
There’s just under a week left before Pilot Wings 64 is officially released on Switch, meaning you’ll have time starting tomorrow to put this soothing soundtrack on repeat for around 7,200 plays – challenge accepted.
