SMUD customers lose power in downtown Sacramento on Sunday, outage map shows

More than 2,100 SMUD customers experienced power outages in downtown Sacramento on Sunday, according to the utility’s outage map. The outage occurred at 10:50 a.m. At least 2,147 customers were without power as of 11:10 a.m. At 11:18 a.m., the map showed that only 253 customers were left without power. As of 1:00 p.m., power had been restored to the entire area, according to the outage map.
