The Pokemon Company and developer Game Freak have released a new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet that invites viewers to guess Gym Leder Iono’s partner Pokemon.
Gym Leader Iono
Iono is the Gym Leader of Levinia, one of the prominent towns of the Paldea region, specializing in Electric-type Pokemon. She is also known as the Supercharged Streamer, who has gained popularity as a host of the Iono Zone. She even streams her work as a Gym Leader and seems to put a lot of emphasis on viewer engagement on her channel and the number of views she gets. Her catchphrases include: Your eyeballs are MINE – trapped in my Electroweb! and ‘Ello, ‘hello, hola! Ciao and Bonjour!
Bellibolt

Bellibolt expands and contracts its elastic body to generate electricity in an organ that looks like a belly button. The enormous amount of electricity generated in this way is then discharged through the two bumps on either side of his head that resemble eyeballs.
Its real eyes are cute small and round so when it tries to be intimidating it makes good use of the eye-like bumps.

It’s hard to train Bellibolt to engage in combat without being attacked first. As the sun sets, you’ll hear strange noises from Bellibolt’s habitat. This sound is not Bellibolt’s howl, but a sound coming from their stomach – this sound is known to indicate that they are hungry.
—New Ability: Electromorphosis
Bellibolt’s Ability, Electromorphosis, is a new Ability that appears for the first time in these titles. Bellibolt recharges when hit by an attack, increasing the power of the next electrical attack it uses.
Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will be out for Switch on November 18.
