Maybe it’s your co-worker sitting in the stands at meetings or a friend who seems to think their time is more valuable than yours — either way, this pompous behavior can be hard to deal with. Gemini are the social butterflies of the zodiac. They love making new friends, talking to new people, and helping others feel comfortable in a social environment. Sometimes their selfish desire to be everyone’s best friend can cause them to forget certain niceties.
According to astrologer and tarot reader Maisy Bristol, the childish behavior of this playful, mercurial air sign can be endearing. “But on the other hand, sometimes their jokes can go a little too far, making it seem like they have a blatant disregard for the feelings of others.” And since they are the most gossipy, this is very often the case.

Fellow air sign Aquarius is a bit of a know-it-all. And don’t even try to make them change their mind or admit they’re wrong. “Aquarius people are smart. But Aquarius people also know that they are smart, and they want others to know that too,” explains Bristol.
This sign is also the greatest humanitarian of the zodiac. They believe strongly in their goals, but this passion can go south if others don’t get on board. “An Aquarius’ favorite pastime is to force an unwilling audience with their Ted Talk of the day, without pausing or asking for comment,” says Bristol. “Talking about patronizing!”

Aries are the fiery leaders of the zodiac, but they also need a lot of attention and have a hard time sharing the spotlight. “They say the worst kind of arrogance is grown out of ignorance. And that includes Aries,” says Bristol. “This sign is consistently self-contained, which makes it difficult to see perspectives from others.”
In addition, they are in a bad mood and will not hesitate to confront you. “Knowing they have control over a situation can also cause them to behave in the wrong way,” notes Joanne Lara, astrologer and founder of Sacred Joanne. This can come in the form of a blink or a condescending argument.

Virgos are known for their need to be right, among other things. “In fact, Virgos are usually right, but that doesn’t excuse their general know-it-all attitude,” says Bristol. She explains that although they seem arrogant, their behavior is more a symptom of their perfectionism. “If a Virgo isn’t always right, they feel like they’ve failed.”
But the real problem comes into play when this character starts applying their unrealistically high standards to others. “They have to criticize everything and can’t live in the moment,” says Lara. Nobody likes to nitpick, but Virgos just can’t seem to let go.

Leos are over the top attention seekers who are likely to be in the spotlight. “Their self-centered attitudes are no secret, which makes them seem superficial,” explains Karen Comen, an astrologer at Zodiacsign.com. “A Leo won’t even talk to you if they think you’re under them. This superior-than-thou nature makes them super arrogant. Bristol agrees that Leos are self-centered and says to be careful not to talk too loudly, interrupt others, or steal the show when it’s not their turn.

Comen takes the bull by the horns with this insight about Taurus: “They are not as self-centered as a Leo, which is why people often don’t think they are arrogant… Their ego comes more from their stubborn nature. They don’t think they ever In addition, their uncompromising attitude makes them appear arrogant and haughty.’
Lara also points to this sign’s stubbornness as the cause of their arrogance. “Taurus will convince you that the grass is purple, but they won’t budge.”
