FortniteMares 2022 is finally here, and it has added many new Halloween themed items, game modes, and skins for players to use. Players have long awaited what is expected to be a thrilling experience: kill zombies all over the map and escape in a Witch’s Broom Mythic.
Now that the update is finally here, it has also spawned a number of new cosmetic collaborations from Summer and Mr. Meeseeks from Rick and Morty to Ash Williams from Evil Dead. There may also be some survey skins and concept royale skins on the island.
But there’s something for everyone in Fortnite’s bag of treats for players who can’t buy outfits from the item shop for whatever reason. During FortniteMares 2022, players can now get free outfits and cosmetics if they complete a certain number of quests. Here’s all the information you need to know.
Fortnite says players will get a free Chrome Punk skin during FortniteMares 2022.
Epic Games added some new Chrome Punk quests to the game files with the most recent Halloween update. As mentioned, players will need to complete three different quest levels before getting a free Chromeseed Backbling, Graveyard Rave loading screen, and Chrome Punk outfit.
Here’s a list of all the quests and what they give you:
When you reach level 10, Chromeseed Backbling will appear. Earn 25 account levels: The Graveyard Rave loading screen appears. Chrome Punk Skin after 50 Account Levels
This means that players will have to do weekly, daily, milestone and special FortniteMares 2022 quests from the Quest tab to increase their accounts. But players should remember that their account level is different from their XP level. They can check their XP level by going to the Career tab in the game menu.
As of now, there is no date on which the quests will end, but Epic may say something about it in the future. Chrome Punk has also been added to the map as an NPC and can be seen roaming the island. In the Characters tab, they are described by the game as follows:
“Finding a way to win by chopping and cutting. Chrome Punk is known as one of the first bands to play ‘gourd-core’ music in the underground. His brother Punk, with whom he fought, is the only one who can match his attitude.”
A similar skin called “Punk” was sold in the item store a few years ago. It was built in a manner similar to Chrome Punk, and most people thought it was above average at best. But the higher swing speed of his pickaxe from the Bash Burner set made it seem like you had to pay to win, so Epic changed it.
FortniteMares 2022 starts today and players can experience horror on the island until 2am ET on November 1, when it ends.
